Sadly, it was time to say goodbye to amazing Seoul. Originally, today was dedicated to exploring Incheon area, however since I bought so much yesterday, carrying heavy suitcase around was not an option anymore. Instead, I walked the streets of Hongdae one last time.
Sometimes all you need in life is a bit of shopping, and considering the choice of products widely accessible here, yes that includes clothes. I just had to buy as much as I could since I knew it be much harder ones I return home to Hanoi.
Since I already knew that I will be heading out for few drinks in the evening, I wanted to make sure that today was a pretty chilled day. Never less it was important to do some exploring and the Design Plaza just so happened to be on my sightseeing list.
We all relay on modern day technology, I am not an exception. Today could have been a fabulous day, if I did some prior research, instead of hoping that there will be free wifi somewhere. Plus my GPS stopped working, or perhaps got confused by the Skyscrapers and I have spend majority of the day wandering the streets of Gangnam.
There comes a day in your life, when all you want is just some cake. Today, was one of those day… Sightseeing around Itaewon came with a price of a cake, macaroon and a cupcake, which emptied my wallet and didn’t bring much joy. Sometime its whats inside that matter & no matter how pretty cake is, it can still taste awful.
It only made sense to continue discovering weird and wonderful themed cafes of Seoul- one area at a time. So today I headed to Myeongdong & nearby areas to see famous Beauty Shopping Mecca and to eat some poo at the Ddong Cafe.
Today was all about themed cafes, since I felt like I didn’t get to experience them as much as I wanted in Japan, Seoul gave me an opportunity to let my inner child out by visiting Hello Kitty and Meerkat cafes all in one day. Apart from visiting these wonderful cafes I also went to a museum & did some shopping.
This trip was planned awhile back and honestly I was counting days till my departure. South Korea and especially Seoul was always on my must visit list.
